Overall 100% great experience. An A+. they moved block fence walls and built 14ft by 29ft covered patio for us, which included drawings and getting the permits and inspections. Their price was great, half the price of bid we got from some other companies. No back charging or hidden charges. Franco was easy to communicate with, honest and understanding. His guys were great too, respectful and they cleaned up every day and cared to do quality work. I found Home Builders through servicemagic.com but I was treated as family. No project is without problems and last minute on the fly changes. I learned to trust Franco to solve these problems and make decisions both big and small on our behalf. He recommended changes where he saw room for improvement (and in most cases I agreed with him) but I never felt like he was trying to “upsell” me with unnecessary options. On several occasions he went the extra mile at his own time and expense to make sure it was done to our satisfaction. He held himself accountable for everything his subcontractors did. The buck stopped with him. He has an amiable character and treated us with respect and understanding of our point of view.

Home Builders helped us realize our goal: to enlarge a small bedroom for a computer workroom and to add an additional art studio to a small house on a small lot. This while still preserving our private back desert garden. The small addition to the back patio ties in the new addition so it looks like it has always been there. Franco’s crew worked hard to please us. Everyone listened to our concerns and any problems that cropped up where solved. We also added a front brick patio which is much admired by our neighbors.
